Dots, schmots...

EBMM has the best neck woods, both birdseye and flamed. I hardly notice the dots.

That being said, I prefer the small dots, and wide spread at the 12th fret, as my man Jamin Jimbo pointed out...

The details are what mattered the most to me and I still feel they are important. I think that's why a lot of us care about the size of the fret markers. The small dot inlays were just one of the many fine details that I love about EBMM guitars that you just can't get on any other.

Add another to the "prefer small dots" group.

I thought it was a nod to Johnny Hiland who has always had big dots on his guitars because of his eye issues.
That would be my guess as well. When Hiland was playing a sig model PRS a few years back, it had some jumbo dots on it.
