Are there any other Spoon fans here? I've been listening to these guys for 5-6 years now, and they just impress me more and more. I just picked up their new album, Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, and it's extremely good. Listening to it right now, in fact.

Does anyone else have it? Man, Britt Daniel has a knack for songwriting that I'd just kill to have, and while it's not a "guitar album" per se, there are some great guitar tones throughout.

Anyway, if you're a fan, then chances are you've already got this. If you've never listened to any Spoon, by all means check 'em out.

No, but I did manage to find a copy of it. They seemed slightly off during that performance; I read that they had minimal or no rehearsal time with the brass section. Did you see them on Letterman, Tim? If you did, what did you think? If you didn't, I can send you a link to the video...

I've see Spoon several times, and they have always put on a great show. I've got tickets to see them in November here in Dallas, should be a fine time.

I did see them on Letterman (as I am a big fan of Dave) and I agree that they seemed a little off, especially with the brass section of the CBS orchestra. I could see that in the right setting they would put on a great show!
