thanks, you are a b*stard! I absolutely love that top of yours, its truly amazing, you made me order my honeyburst you know, but i couldnt quite afford the upgrade top. but my sunburst MM90 ASS is just fine, the other night i was doing a gig and using the silo spec and i turned around to see my MM90 ASS it its rack, the lights were shining on it and the top looked amazing!!!

Robelinda, the top on my honeyburst is amazing, I did order the upgraded wood, but the PBB Axis I have was a standard top, and it is as nice a quilt as you can imagine (see pic in this thread). I doubt any blah tops have made it out of EBMM, standard or upgraded.

the PBB Axis I have was a standard top, and it is as nice a quilt as you can imagine (see pic in this thread).

WOOWEEE! the PBB is a standard top?!?! there's hope for my honeyburst yet, thats great news!!! You are right, i'm sure every top is great, but some more than others. heartening to know you dont always have to pay the upcharge to get a better than normal top.

Foggy, you are the master of EBMM pic collecting for sure, but robelinda2 has 8 actual Balls to play with. So I'm not sure who is the master of what, now. Hey, maybe you can get an arrangment with BP, to get all those pics onto the MM site all color coded and organized by model and spec, and you can trade this sick obsession with the pics for a REAL obsession with the physical 3D thing .

Naw, I just collect the pics for the love of the brand and to help you guys out in the visual thing.

Provided you don't mind a top that looks like Paul Bunyon himself cut the tree. Of all the Quilt tops I have ever seen I call this one perfect!

Any shots of a Pacific Burst flametop Axis standard? Most (if not all) of these are quilt tops.

I ordered flame. I hope I get a good one. The main reason I went for flame is that I have a blue quilt Wolfgang already, and also that I haven't seen too many in flame top Pacific Burst.

Ugh. On another topic, I have some serious setup to do today. I played the "Millenium Falcon" (the guitar whose headstock is in my avatar) the other night in 95 degree, 95% humidity. My neck held out as long as it could...

Oh - and I've never seen a PBB in flames before. Don't know that there are that many. Maybe look at some De-Purple Y2DS in flame to get an idea.
