Anybody want to trade for a Geddy Lee Jazz bass?

I'm looking to trade my Geddy Lee bass & the appropriate cash for either a Stingray 4 or Sterling. Or an even swap for a SUB 4. My GL Jazz has upgraded custom shop 60's p/u's & comes with a Fender Tweed case. I will sell it outright for $700-shipping included, but I'd rather trade.
I need more Musicmans!! :D

The serial # is E27683. It is a transparent red Stingray w/ no matching headstock, flat black p/g, & a 3 band EQ. I estimate it as being made in Jan. of 2002. Hopefully Jon can be more precise in it's DOB.

I had the Geddy for a while. I really got used to the sound of my Sterlings & I couldn't add an active pre-amp to the Geddy w/out hacking it so out the door it went & in w/ the Stingray. Hey...I sold the Geddy on Ebay for $700 within 8 hours of listing it!! :D

I've got a Geddy Jazz and I like it. I don't like the tuners though. they are pretty cheap and are hard to turn. If you got $700 out of it for used a used one, you are doing good!!!

Well it had a nice case & different p/u's in it. Also I sold it to someone in Italy so probably to them it was a bargain.
I agree---I had put Schaller tuners on it when I had it but I took them off & put the stock ones on prior to selling it.
The reason I didn't like it was after playing my EBs per say at a gig, if I plugged the Geddy in I would have to fiddle w/ the amp knobs to get a decent sound & I didn't want to do that at every gig so basically I'd never bring it. It would just sit here at home on the stand----kind of a waste to just use for home practice when I have 3 to 4 gigs a month. I'm much happier w/ the Stingray I just got. :D

Nice Stingray!

I have the same colour but with the matching headstock.

Here it is with my Monty brown 4003....I'll take a couple of decent pics and post 'em soon:
