I was wondering if anyone has changed the radius on their Axis.

I was playing a LUKE yesterday and noticed how I liked the feel on the upper register a bit better than the Axis but the Axis I loved way more on the lower frets because it was so darn comfy for chording.

Maybe a 10-12" compound would be awesome for the Axis??

Just a thought........

Plus the Axis Floyd would be able to have even lower action this way since I think it is a 14" radius.

cheers

I don't believe Floyd's have Radius mate.
They were designed that way to fit any guitar.

I had the radius on my Axis reduced from the 12 fret onwards as i had some fretting out problems beyond the 12th. Radius on the neck beyond the 12th and the radius of the floyd are different, no idea what they are of the top of my head though. The floyd does have a radius, just look at the height of the E's compared to G & D, curvature means radius. Anyways, the action is low with no fretting out, alls good.
