Funny, I caught a clip of him playing a white Silo quite some time ago on YouTube. It was a n instructional video of him playing -- Hendrix -- I think. Maybe it was a Pink Floyd song. Actually, it may have been SRV's Lenny. Any way, I tried finding that video again and couldn't. Now I've got his name and I shall search again!!!!!!

Great player who loves his Music Man guitars! Jamie's been with us for quite a while now, we love him!

Thanks Beth, good to know he's being looked after by the guitar company we all love.

On a side note, I know he uses Dimarzio Area 67s for the singles. Can you share what he uses for his humbucker?

I hope this isn't too off topic ...

I have checked out the Licks Library site as a result of this thread and several of Jamie's DVDs look intriguing. They have other DVDs from other instructors that have also caught my interest (style of Luke, Albert Lee).

My question is: I'm in the US, would I be able to play PAL format DVDs on my computer? I know they won't play in my DVD player, but I am wondering about my computer's DVD drive. Can any US customers comment? Thanks in advance.

Great question. I don't know the answer, but I'm sure there are video forums out there that answer that question. You may want to check AVS Forums. That's full of fantastic audio, visual, and sound info.

I've tried before, but didn't have any luck. You can check your computer to see if it might play PAL version DVD's -- I think Smelly has done this before! Smelly???

Thanks, I'll check that forum. Upon further inspection, it appears that only some of their DVDS are incompatible. The ones I am most interested in appear to be OK for me.

Most computers, if not all, can let you choose which region to play. I know I can set anything from PAL, Region 0, Region 2 etc.
