You people started this thread because you knew I JUST put one on order...I see how it is, taunt the lefty.... oohhh and you know what's interesting left handed people have a 10 percent more likley chance of comiting suicide(or something close to that), just thought I'd let you guys know that not being able to play the JP's and AL's does take it's toll.

I like the idea of a all rosewood guitar but would have prefer the body to be like BP's one off silo 20th, that is to say like the neck ; unfiniched.

This top really remind me of my parent's kitchen in the 70s (Formica)

Man, if all my cupboards sounded this good, I'd never leave the Kitchen!:D

Phat!
Use your "buying power"...tell them that your cash doesn't have an expiry date, why should the guitar? You're not buying a hunk of cheese-you're a serious customer.
Tell them you mean business if they wanna DO business!

The sale is NEVER over. I have never paid sticker price on anything in Guitar Center nor any other name brand music store. Except small Mom and Pop music shops I feel they are doing a good thing trying to combat the evil Guitar Center.:) And their customer service usually justifies the few extra bucks.

WOW!!! This is one of the nicest guitars, I've ever seen!! Congratulations!
Do you use the piezzo often or in combination with the normal pickups?

And do you have any experiences with EBMM's w/o Trem?
Are they better in sustain than the one with?

Thanks and best regards

Thanks, and welcome aboard!

Not often, but sometimes. It's nice when you have a dirty amp for the pickups and a PA for the piezo. The contrast is cool

And do you have any experiences with EBMM's w/o Trem?

No, Sorry. I've been told that hardtails are the best choice for piezo but all the piezos I've heard (on electric) were trem loaded-they all sounded great though including the Parker Fly.

i want one! a local shop here had one at a great price but when i called today the sale was over. it was gonna pull an impulse lunchtime purchase - but alas, not in the cards

I know its not really close, but GC in Vegas have one. Its been in there for a year to my knowledge, so you might be able to haggle a deal!

I actually find the piezo w/trem sounds better, but i have no idea why. Could be the guitar itself, my Honeyburst ASS sounds mega compared to my Silo Special w/piezo. Maybe i need to adjust the setting on the piezo.

It's worth a shot. Mark the settings you have now so you can reset it.

rose ass - wood or not :)

thumbs up for a rose(wood) ass !

i have a trans red ass that I regularly caressed but when I stumbled upon a rose one I had to feel her and when I felt her I had to have her right there on the spot !
Even my wife approved my actions when she saw how excited I was.
Although she later remarked that the old red one looks better and that she doesn't get it what's so hot about this one ?
But I know better than explaining her why I prefer a fresh rose ass over used red one. ;)
Btw. I'm not giving up on the red yet, she has that beautiful eyes, birdseyes that is...

Cheers,
Dean
