Hi stirling...I have mine and I am totally blown away..after about 3 hours of messing with the interface and watching some video the pennie droppped and I got it..I played my first clinic with it last night in the North of UK and the guitarists who attended where blown away..I had the interface on screen and we were experimenting with various wiring options..I have just set up at another store for an all day musicman instore clinic tomorrow..I gave the guys in the store a run down, and once again had them watching me come up with countless wiring options, and all of them have never seen anything like it..a few thought it was going to be like a Line 6 guitar..how wrong could they be!!...They couldnt believe all of this was achieved with normal pickups..
On a personal note I havent put this guitar down since i got it on Tuesday..I am in a hotel room now on this run of clinics and the guitar is right next to me..i am compiling my own favourite settings. With my various session jobs, Lick Library etc, this guitar is going to be probably the most powerfull tool i own. Also when I next play with Brian May, i will be able to achieve his unique pickup selection that he gets on his Red Special, sounds that you can only achieve with one of his guitars...or a Game Changer..I have to say stirling that this is a milestone in guitar history..not only is it a beautiful well crafted premium quality electric guitar, a musicman through and through in feel and and quality, but it is the most versatile guitar on the planet..huge thumbs up Stirling...If I had more hands I would give extra thumbs up LOL..I am in love with my Game Changer...gonna finish compiling sounds for tomorrows clinic..Jamie H
There was one hanging at my local shop when I picked up the LIII yesterday. Didn't get a chance to plug it in, but also don't have a demo setup to try it either. Maybe I'll bring my laptop with me next time and give it a spin if it's still there.
