I've been thinking of buying an Albert Lee due in large part to the positive comments I've read here about it....but the catch is....I've never played one or heard one for that matter. I'm thinking of the version with the standard single coils (not the P90's). Can someone help a brother out and post a sound clip? I'm particularly interested in the bridge pickup, since I've read it has a tele-like twang to it (come to think of it, a clip of neck pickup would be helpful too). Thanks all.....

By the way, it would be cool if the music man website had some sound clips of all the guitars (yeah, I know they sound different throught different amps, etc.....)..I'm just saying it would give the listener an idea of the different tones available (i.e. all the different pickup combinations in the Morse for example).

I've got two Albert Lee DVD's. Highlights and Country Legend. He uses the EBMM AL guitars on both and and the sound on those DVD's is identical to the sound I get out of my AL, minus the chops. :p

He's playing in Inverness a couple of times, not the most amazing sound I've ever heard but the signature tone has gotta be on country boy

There were guys shouting him to play it in between every song... he got a bit hacked off with it about half way through the show.

There was a hotlicks video years ago the sound on that (is still his main sound IMO)

Is anyone aware of any recordings of Albert using the MM90's. Or does anyone have a recording of themselves with AL and MM90's.

I may be able to record some clips (next week when I'm feeling a bit better and less sore) using my AL withh SSS - but how do I host them?

I could record a small clip and re do it 5 times to demo the 5 way selector.
