Hi yall,

Yes I am from the south. I am close to putting up my MM90 on the bay, so I can pick up an Albert Lee. I wanted to see if anyone here might have one they would trade? If there is any interest I can supply pictures and information.

Have a good weekend everyone,
Kevin

Here you go. The picture does not do the guitar justice, this guitar is beautiful IMHO. If anyone is interested, I will take a picture tomorrow in the sunlight. The pick guard does not have screws and the finish below is not affected.

where did you get a pickguard with no screws?

Chandler made the pick guard. The trick to adding a pick guard without drilling the guitar is to use a couple of small pieces of carpet tape. You only need a couple of very small pieces and wax the area prior to installing. I remove the guard about every three or four months and repeat the process. I have done this on multiple guitars and have never had a problem hurting the finish. The tape is so thin that it is flush to the guitar. I had a custom leather guard made for my Bill Crooks Tele and do the same thing. The carving is so nice on the guard that I hated to drill holes in it. Again the tape works like a charm and allows me to mod the guitar without hurting the value.I picked up this tip from the folks at Chandler. I love to mod my guitars and make them my own. You will notice the knobs are different as well. I have all the original parts, so I can put it back the way it was when I purchased it.

Try the below link, if that doesn't work goggle chandler pick guard and it will come up. Chandler had never made one for the MM90, so I gave the dimensions. They make the guards for other Ernie Ball guitars, so they contacted the factory to make sure that I was spot on.

It's a beautiful guitar, and I'm sorely tempted, but I don't want to give up my AL... :(

Jimi, I know the feeling, its hard to even think about giving up the MM90. I hope I dont regret the move. Having both, what do you think?
Thanks,
Kevin
