You'd have to get a new fretboard on yer neck, and I think refretting would be simple,as there are the dovetail cuts on the fretboard and they say the frets "slide right in". Now I think that's cool, one could change frets out easily at home. Just slide the old ones out and slide the new ones in. Of course there would be a little pressure involved and a bit of force to push them out and in. I think this frets system has some merit.

Who's going to cut frets to size? No two frets are of the same width by the way, and then there's always the edges that need to be dressed and made flush with the edge of the board. This is by no means a diy job, unless you've got both the required tools and the skill not to damage your neck and fretboard.

Trust me it's not as easy as you think. Oh and I forgot to mention that also not two frets sits in their slots at similar height because of the nature of wood, one slot might be deeper than the next and that is why only a skilled luthier can plane them all to be dressed to the same height

I'd imagine bends and heavy vibrato would have to be weird with the True Temperament system ??

eg : Imagine the how much further you'd have to bend the 2nd string at the 3rd, 6th or 8th fret to achieve the same pitch / bend as a normal axe !?!?

(i.e. string "lengthens" as you bend it towards the centre of the neck)

That freenote neck is dumb. I can't even play guitar with 22 frets, I'm not about to double the thinking involved

Just my imagination running wild here, but I could totally see frets sliding out of the neck due to contraction of the wood. Maybe not all the way out, but I could see you bending a note, and pushing a fret partly out of the neck.
