Man, I can't stand those basses. So it's made out of 35,000 year old wood. That's just wierd man. The sound isn't phenominal, the look isn't too swell, and the I'm sure the price ir ridiculous. It seems the real reason behind having one of those would simply be for the joy of saying you have a bass made from 35,000 year old wood.
All that talk of coffee table does get me thinking though... Let's see, I could somehow connect some old P and J bass bodies from the fifties... Use the necks' as legs... hmmmm hehehe

A local store(American Guitar Botique) has a few of those basses and they play good but I think the body of one looks like an ant farm. I always want to shake it up..haha. That store is crazy though... lots of amazing basses and guitars.

There's sound samples on the website. It's got a very nice bright tone, I'll definately give it that much. Now I haven't seen the price, but I'm guessing it's high, and I'm guessing too high for a tone like that. Like I said, it's nice, but nothing stunning to me. Here's a link:

Put down a thick bark mulch around the trunks. You want to insulate the ground around the roots so it doesn't freeze so easily, allowing the roots to continue to supply the needles with enough water.

I can't recall the price but I'm pretty sure they are over 2,000 bucks. They play nice and sound nice but I just can't see myself ever playing a bass like that or paying that much for one.
