Anyone seen these

Man, I can't stand those basses. So it's made out of 35,000 year old wood. That's just wierd man. The sound isn't phenominal, the look isn't too swell, and the I'm sure the price ir ridiculous. It seems the real reason behind having one of those would simply be for the joy of saying you have a bass made from 35,000 year old wood.

All that talk of coffee table does get me thinking though... Let's see, I could somehow connect some old P and J bass bodies from the fifties... Use the necks' as legs... hmmmm hehehe

A local store(American Guitar Botique) has a few of those basses and they play good but I think the body of one looks like an ant farm. I always want to shake it up..haha. That store is crazy though... lots of amazing basses and guitars.

There's sound samples on the website. It's got a very nice bright tone, I'll definately give it that much. Now I haven't seen the price, but I'm guessing it's high, and I'm guessing too high for a tone like that. Like I said, it's nice, but nothing stunning to me. Here's a link:

http://www.guitar.net.nz/Sounds/lightwave3.mp3 That should work. I believe it's the sound sample for the one without pickups, though I may be wrong. Also, there's a sound samples section on the bottom of the menu on the left. Should help you out.

Edit: Okay, the link above is the one with Bart PJ P'ups in it. Here's a link to one from a P'upless five:

http://www.guitar.net.nz/Sounds/lightwave2.mp3 Unfortunately it seems none of them are Just the bass playing, but you can still hear it pretty cleanly. I definately suggest checking out the 'samples' section of the website if you're interested though.

Last winter, my new 8' aborvitaes showed signs of winter dessication. Is there anything I can do to prevent it this winter?
:D

Put down a thick bark mulch around the trunks. You want to insulate the ground around the roots so it doesn't freeze so easily, allowing the roots to continue to supply the needles with enough water.

:D Thanks Dlloyd.

Now, . . . if there are any Harley Davidson mechanics/enthusiasts here,
I will have no need to join or visit any other forums!! :)

(apologies in advance for the off-topic stuff)
