Anyone take delivery of a BP AL?

Anyone take delivery of any variation of the BP AL? What do you think of it?

I've been on a spending reduction ever since I saw the prototype pictures of these, no matter what happens with my job, I'm having a BP AL, even if I have to get a return flight to the US and pick one up on a weekend holiday! -(Way the £ is might be cheaper!)

the AL (For anyone who's not played one) is an AMAZING Guitar, anyone who like a humbucker tone, you'd want that in an AL - and a rosewood board.....oOOOOoooo - it's like all my christmas's in one,

my only problem is if I get paid off I'll probably have to give up 2 or maybe 3 balls for it - but I reckon it'd be worth it.

For once I'm actually hoping the BP AL is delayed till around Dec09/Jan10

The AL sure is the best guitar EBMM make, criminally underrated here. I wish more people would give it a go and see how great it is. People seem to be humbucker mad and dont give the single coil pups a good go.

but Rob what about us that have an Al with singles that want another with a humbucker?

Yeah, I think if MORE GC stores (and others) would hang a few Al's on the wall (so people can see them and play them) then that would certainly take care of the, ". . . . uh, no, I haven't had a chance to play one yet."

I think sales would soar.

Every time I go to GC, the sales people know exactly which guitars I'm going too, as they mention to me any new ones they've just received.
