I have a Bongo 4HH, and I've tried TI Jazz Flats with it, and I liked them just fine. Right now, I have another bass with TI Flats, so just for the sake of variety, I'd like to try the EB Group III Flats.

I'm going to put the Group III Flats on my Bongo anyway, so I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this, and would like to share their experience...

I've got them on my Bongo 5H, and they sound great. They have a little more tension than the TI's, which is a good thing for me. They started out a little bright, but quickly settled into a nice THUMP.

Well, it seems like I'll like 'em. I haven't found a dealer that has them in-stock locally, so I guess I have to do the interweb mail-order thang...

maybe I am wrong, but isn't the bongo4 neck the same as the stingray4?
I have the group IIIs on my 30th and I do think that after a while they have settled down nicely. And guess what, they actually feel like real strings...not like TI Flats!
Which feel like cotton candy.
