I just picked this up yesterday from a local store in a trade for my Stingray 5 and Silhouette guitar. There is not a blemish to be seen on this bass. I haven't even had the chance to put on straplocks. After playing it extensively, I've concluded this bass is just not for me. I'm a loyal Stingray fellow.

I'm looking to trade for another MusicMan. Whether it be a Stingray, Stingray 5, Sterling, etc. My only request is it must be in very excellent condition, and I prefer Rosewood fingerboard, although I will consider maple. Let me know what you got.

Good lord that's gorgeous. As much as I'd love to, I'm going to have to pass. I've never been a huge fan a Vintage Sunburst, and I'd likely end up getting rid of it a week later. Sorry.

Well that was a waste of an SR5 and a silhouette.
Dude, its true. I would see if you could return and sell the SR5 and Silhoutte separately. I bet you could get more money out of it.

Whoever said I'm concerned about money?

I didn't say you were concerned about money. Its just a practicality thing. A lot of us go through instruments quickly like you seem to do, and thats fine, its what we do. If I gave up $200 or $300 bucks every time I made a trade or sold, it would be much more diffilcult to keep my habit going, thats all.

Well. I gotta say I'd pretty much give up a ball for that Bongo 5, but considering that I am out of work at the moment, will have to pass . . . . ****sigh****

Another victim of "Bongo Hype"

I also suffered from this over the summer
but eventually traded the 5HHLE for a Ray.

Good luck getting a Ray back -I know how
you feel.
