Anyone want to tell me the EVH story and how it was made?

So,

i heard lately that the Axis ( EVH) wasnt even designed by Eddie. That he actually picked from guitar designs that were already made by EBMM. Is that true??

Rumor also has it that EBMM had the Frankenstrat and Kramer 1984 many times either to fix them up and too research them for getting that sound outta the EVH.


anyone want to tell me a nice bedtime story bout this?

These topics have been covered quite a few times before. I am sure if you search the forum you can find the info you need. EVH threads start off all fine and dandy, but tend to go south pretty fast.

EVH isn't a dirty word, as long as we're talking about the guitar, and not the person. It's been brought up alot in the past, and there are severel treads on the design of the EVH/Axis.
