Anyone willing to trade a maple neck for a rosewood??

I'm looking at getting an awsome sterling, however I really really want a maple neck, but it has a rosewood neck. I was just wondering if there would be sufficient interest on this board to trade the neck with someone in a similar (inverse) situation.

Or should I just suck it in and keep it as is? or keep waiting for the right one

It's simply for personal taste and aesthetic preference. I just find that maple looks really good with certain colors. But I totaly agree, my SR5 is rosewood and looks and sounds great.

Is this the Candy Apple Red Sterling (I think it was you!) you mentioned a little while back? If so it may be that the pg needs a change - as CAR looks stunning with rosewood, but I am more than a little biased
