Does anybody in here have an Apple G4 or G5 recording setup with the Logic Pro 7 software bundle? If so what do you guys think of it?From what I have researched so far it's the bee's knees.

Logic is a great program, Brett, but the minimum that I would run it on would be a G5 with 1GB of RAM.

Otherwise, there will be plenty of choking with multitracking.

What are you using to get the sound to the computer? Make sure you get this right, having a good program/computer means nothing if you don't have the right pre's. Pro Tools 7 is being released today and worth every penny IMHO.

I'm back... :)

I would, if you're going the Logic route, use the Firepod...8 XLR / 1/4" combined inputs (I forget what those are called), connects via Firewire.

Listen to the live recording of Tower of Power on the website...if I had the scratch for it, I'd have one sitting on the desk right now.
