Hey all,

I'd formally wish to submit the following application for the ALOC. Got here today from The Good Brothers Dubaldo :)

She's quite a departure for me as I'm a JP fanatic but within minutes of playing her, I was in love. I just need to slip on some strap locks (EB of course) and get her her own Moody and I'll be good to go.

Thanks to EBMM for knocking it outta the park yet again.

Very warm welcome to the ALOC.

It's great to hear that your loving it - especially from someone who has played other EB guitars.

Glad to see that ya got a piezo too - I hope you get to put it through an acoustic amp to get the most out of it.
Will show you the secret handshake at the next ALOC meeting ;)

:eek:Was that a special order or did he have it in stock? If he did excuse me while I silently bang my head on the wall for not jumping on it! In either case congrats she looks great and I bet sounds even better!!

Thanks guys! Admittedly, I wasn't sure I'd adapt to this guitar cuz its so different, and believe it or not, I ordered it never actually having seen in person, or played an AL... crazy, no?! EBMM rules!

No need to injure yourself brokenvail :)... I ordered this baby from the Dubaldo bros about a month before it was announced that CBP was going to be discontinued so I lucked out. I'm totally enamored with this guitar.

Thanks Spud! No acoustic amp yet... I'm running the piezo through a Vox Valvetronic at the moment but I'm definitely on the lookout for a pure acoustic amp. Any suggestions?

Well i was lucky enough to get an AER amp a while ago - since buying it, the prices have increased quite a bit.

I can only recommend an AER as I have no personal experience of any others.
I used to "poo-poo" acoustic amps, but thay sure do the biz.

I noticed a cheapish acoustic amp the other day - but for the life of me I can't remember what it was - sorry! (no 8loody help there Spud!!).

What I would say is that my son has a 50 watt Valvetronix and it is a great amp (he had the 30 watt version originally). I have played my AL through it and it's a great combination BUT the piezo will be 10000% better through an acoustic amp.

Just a little recommendation - I orinally used a splitter box to split the mags/piezo through to my AER/Tube amp.
I now have an EB 6165 pedal which acts as the splitter and pans between the two amps - hands free operation!

There were some great deals on the 6165 on evilbay.

Once again - nice AL - and I see that our leader has officially endorsed your application - welcome brother  ;)
