so here's a mini review:

I got the axe a couple days ago but wasnt able to take it home it home till yesterday: On tuesday there was a surprise Green Day show at a small, 400 person venue that i HAD TO go to and the day after I had an interview for a teaching job (i might be teaching a PHP programming class soon). So, since I didnt wanna drag my guitar around the city or leave it in the car he had to chill at work.

Anywho... this thing is awesome!!! My hands may have forgotten the shape of the AL neck since I last had one but it's a fantastic feeling neck. The shape kicks ass, the size is right and the RW is like butter. I love it.

The distinct MM necks are really a treat. They're all very comfy and yet so different... its like switching one awesome album to another. different flavors but they're all delicious. LOL

So the 3x MM90 thing. So, i'll confess - years ago when I first saw a 3x MM90 AL I thought "why?". But now I totally "get" it :)

For me the mixed pup positions pull off my quacky tone desires... and when solo'd (bridge or neck) I don't feel "ripped off" like i do with a standard single coil (keep in mind i play rock). so the 3x MM90 thing works great for me... especially due to the silent circuit cuz I mostly play the bridge pup solo'd.

and ya - that neck's to die for. id highly recommend getting your fav MM w/ a rosewood neck. It just feels too good to pass up.
