Good day,

I'm looking to soon order a pearl redburst JP6 with the shield inlays and the piezo.

What's the average wait time for one of these?

Yes I know I could just call customer service and find out for sure, just curious I guess. That and I'm working right now ;)

When I ordered my first JP BFR, it took about 4 months.
I just ordered a Koa JP 7 BFR, and I'm guessing it'll be about the same.
Givin I'm in Alberta, so if you're in the States it may be sooner than 4 months.
I would also assume it depends if there are any in-stock at the factory, or at the shop you buy from.
Hope that helps! :)

If we get the order this week it should be completed in May.

I've only ordered an Ernie Ball/Music Man guitar once, thus far. It was a Mystic Dream John Petrucci 7-string, with the piezo bridge, the JP "shield" inlays and matching painted headstock. I ordered it from Long and McQuade in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada on July 11th 2006 and it arrived at the store on March 27th 2007. Since then, thankfully I've seen more EBMM's in stock at the store LoL.

Just a follow up question to this if I may.

Did the change to stainless steel frets change the price of the jp6 series?

The only JP's with a price increase are the 961 and 971 (base models equipped with piezo option).

Just an update to ETA's: We're now taking orders for late June. Get your orders in before we're backed into July or August!
