I'm in the same boat as far as waiting on my fretless BC Bongo5. I was quoted late March but It will probably be April.

Both sound like they are going to be amazing basses that I'd love to take from you.

I think you'll both be glad you got the piezo options for the fretless basses. They really do add something pretty special organic to the sound.

I can't wait to see the pics! If I could get one of those sweet, sweet brown cases, I'd die a happy man.

I swear I don't see how you guys can custom order. I have a tough enough time waiting when I buy or trade a bass, and usually I have it overnighted! Just too impatient, I guess.

It's tough, but hey, my guitar player says the best thing about getting a new guitar is the wait. Then again, he just spent over £1000 on a guitar he's not sure he's happy with, so.... he could just be wrong!

I'm hoping my Bongo's gonna turn up this week. I'm into month four of waiting, but this time I'm fairly certain. Can't wait!

I guess I wanted a specific Bass and no dealers had what I wanted. I kept waiting for fretless Bongos with piezo's and I just didn't see them showing up. Plus, how can I resist such a cool color.

I ordered my new fretless SR4 in November, and took delivery on Friday. The wait gets tougher. the closer it gets. It will be worth the wait, though, I'm sure.
