He sent me two pm's and didnt exactly tell the truth in any of them and now with Beth he claims to not know who I am. He also claims that he had to delete the photos in june because of our bandwidth limit. NOT

Here is the story it is like buying a Porshce and having a minor finish problem and demanding they replace the car or have it repainted in Germany.

He also posted here before he let Strings and things help him......

They are very impressive. For future reference just talk to them before you post a problem here. It'll save you from Big Poppa getting mad at you!

OK Now for the rest of the story.....

Pete at Strings and Things was already in contact with this customer....once again someone is already in the customer service process doesnt tell you guys and sollicits advice and doesnt tell the whole story.
The "brand new" Axis left our factory in June of 2004. IT went to Strings and things and was shipped to a Scotish dealer in Jue of 2004. I just checked my watch and it is a three year old guitar.

The customer did not notice the stress cracks until later....He claims that they werent there but my money is that they were there and maybe there was a price consideration for a three year old shopworn guitar. Please tell us how much you paid for the guitar.

I think that it is also "unusual" that in early June this customer posted photos of this guitar and has deleted them on August 5th.....were the stress cracks showing in tose photos? I dont know only the deelter knows.

The customer is refusing to let Strings and Things handle it and is demanding a new guitar from the factory. We have agreed to refinish the guitar in SLo if the customer pays the freight.

Just giving you guys the part of the story that was left out.

Bottom line is that we will fix the stress cracks and back the guitar up but we will not provide him a new guitar.

I find it amazing how much of the story these guys leave out. Now, we get to the real story. Thanks for the info Sterling. I find it funny that some trolls, and S*@T disturbers say we're a bunch of EBMM and Big Poppa ass kissers. But, this is the reason why the folks around here have so much respect for Sterling and the folks that work for him. This guy has a 3 year old guitar and EBMM is going to refinish the guitar and all he has to do is pay freight. I'm pretty sure most companies would say, "buddy, you're out of luck. We can't help you". But that's where EBMM is different. They stand behind the products they make.

Dude, you are getting a really good deal as far as the refinishing is concerned. You should quit while you are way ahead. Get the guitar refinished, and enjoy your Ball. And stick around. We don't bite.;)

I'm sure one company in particular might say "Oh! A ding! Lucky bastid! We usually charge extra for those!". :D
I'm not bashing, I'm poking fun! There's a difference I swear!
