Guys,
If you like Lukes, let me tell you. It felt like I set up 100 of them today at work! Most of you know I set up more basses than guitars. But, I really like setting up Lukes. Don't get me wrong. I like setting up all of our guitars and they all have thier own uniqueness about them, but the challenge to hit that "dead stop" A# on the first try and do it? You feel like the "man"! I was only able to do that once today. But, tomorrow is another day!

I LOVE lukes...of course. I think it's just the best modern concept on the market.

Don't own a Luke yet, someday I'd like too though.

guitarafondio, would those Lukes you've been setting up be Dargies??

I love mine now. I just finally got it setup just right the other day. My trem was sitting a little too high (more up travel available than down). This raises the action because it forces the saddles up a bit. I experimented with adding and removing springs and even different spring configs. Ended up leaving the stock 3 springs in the stock config but I tightened the claw screws about 8 turns each. One clockwise turn on the truss and re-tune and it was perfect. It is easily one of my 2 or 3 best playing guitars now.
