So I returned the last guitar I bought, because of circumstances I won't go into. I was very sad, but just when you are sad things start to turn around and you score an awesome guitar. I can't believe I picked this one up. It has no dents just swirlys and minor fretware. I actually got this guitar up from a famous guitar player... super nice guy and super awesome guitar.

Thanks to everyone. I have a couple questions maybe some of the evh experts can answer. Should the trem setting be set like the axis with g string 14th fret rise? The tremolo is a tad stiff and unresponsive so I'm pretty sure it's too tight. Second what is the height the bridge pickup should be off the strings? Is it consistent among the evh guitars?

I agree for the condition of some of these guitars they seem so high. Top quality musicman evhs are hard to come by these days. I got it for a real good price. Been searching for one for years so I'm really grateful not to get a beat up one.

Wow now that would put a smile on any ones face. I have calmed down in the GAS department the last couple of years, but when I was out there the biggest lesson I learned was to be -patient! I have a bit of OCD lol and the mindset of having to have it now at all costs. But be it a deal went sour or I got beat out on Ebay with 3 seconds left, almost every time something better came along in less then a month.jvh- I am sure your mood has gone from feeling down to ecstatic lol. I always thought the Blue EVH's were the nicest looking finish.
