Splott - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I posted a thread a couple of weeks back
http://www.ernieball.com/forums/cur...-your-good-karma-spudmurphy-3.html#post487132

I went for the interview and was told that I would know the decision the following Monday. Well Monday came and went - nothing !!
Another 8 days and I get a phone call ... ...

I got the job :D :D :D :D :D

Thanks for all the good vibes - much appreciated.

Over the last couple of days (I'm in Liverpool working) I've received lots of e mails from colleagues saying that they had applied for the same job and didn't get to the interview stage. :(

So a lot of people went for it and I'm sooo glad that I got it.

I'll be back in Cardiff on the weekend and will be back on my own computer instead of this one in Liverpool Library.

Well done Sir Spud

Don't forget to show up on your first day in full ALOC Ceremonial Garb and Regalia. Your new charges need to know with whom they are dealing.

I'll be trying out a few EB's at the Knucklehead bash - I'm in the market for a 3rd ball but want something different to an AL.
Mystic Dream looks nice - will I like the neck?
Axis? - maybe - although if I could get a hardtail EVH then that is a distinct posability.
My heart says Silo - but I think the AL covers the Silo range.
- we'll see!

Anyways thanks everybody - I'm stoked !!

My liege, we are most satisfied and tickled upon reception of your most excellent tidings. Come! Come, ye all! Let us to Big Poppa's barbecue make and marinade the fattened calf in preparation for a celebratory meal on this fine evening. We shall raise our tankards high and oft in proclamation to all and sundry that Sir Sudmurphy of Splott, knight of knuckleheads, is indeed a most brave and handsome fellow and worthy of any position that should traverse his noble path! Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!

Oh Spud well done - knew you'd do well :)

I always loved that Cardiff has a place called Splott. The way it just rolls off the tongue is superb! Sper-loooott! Discovering that it existed (although I've never been) was probably the finest discovery of my time there! : D
