Hate to resurrect an old thread but I just came across a trans purple silhouette floyd rose with 2 hum buckers. I am trying to find some info on the guitar. What is the body made off and what type of pickups come with it. Is there a 5 way switch for the 2 hum buckers and if so what is the switching. I wish Music Man had a section on their site for legacy products. I imagine it would be a lot to keep up with.

This is from a special run that EBMM did in 2012 for the annual guitar shows. I think they made maybe 3-5 of each color:

Sledge
Pacific Blue Burst
Trans Teal
Trans Purple

They are kind of tribute models to the original/early Floyd Silos.

Swamp ash body
Floating floyd
The pickups I think are chrome covered PAF Pros

The 5-way switch is:

For reference, here are photos of the different colors (from my collection):

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the info!!! I found one on the web yesterday in mint condition. They wanted $800 for it so I jumped on it. I found some info about these limited runs on a Japanese website. That was the only place I could find any info. They were showing 36th anniversary pickups. I have the trans purple on the way. Should have it next week.

That sledge color looks great. Heck I like them all. I never owned an ash guitar.

I saw that one 4 or 5 days ago as well - GuitarCenter. If I had the $ it would have been mine. A steal.

Yes sir that was the one. It is now on the way to NC. I called their store because the pics looked like it was a solid color. I wasn't sure if the guitar had been modified. After talking to the guy he said it was trans purple and the guitar was mint. He said there were no fret marks at all. We shall see. I will have it next week sometime. Here is a pic of a close up the guy texted me.

Oh, yeah, @NorM!!! I totally forgot about the Natural from the same series. I was out of funds buying the four I did, and the natural wasn't rocking my socks at the time. Derek broke my chops hard to take the natural too but I stood firm. And then regretted it like 2 weeks later.

All I needed to know was that the guitar existed. Thank you for standing firm.
