I played one once. It was not for me... the neck is thick and very wide, very opposite of most EBMM necks... even more so than my old JP Standard Faded 50's neck. If you like wide and chunky... this is your girl!

Just got mine... NGD post coming. Flash is right, it's sooo different from all the other EBMMs I own or have tried. I wasn't crazy about the neck at first but it's growing on me the more I play it. Much more LP-like.

But yes, some (possibly many) of us are EBMM fans because we tried a bunch of other stuff and didn't get along with them. PRS are great guitars, beautifully made, that personally can't stand playing. Just not my cup of tea.

Sorry - I should have thought my reply through! - I have 2 PRS guitars and as Dr Kev says they are lovely but not for everyone, - if you're near a music store I recommend you take the afternoon and AB what catches your eye in EBMM & PRS both are amazing, but at the end of the day it's down to what makes you smile.
