I just got finished watching the guitar world review on the armada and all I can say is wow, congratulations on such a wonderful instrument.Usually I dont like guitar worlds reviews as I feel they usually do not sound good but this one came through really good, that guitar sounds really meaty, that's the main word that comes into my mind when listening to it.Also the old cliche dripping with tone comes to mind.:) I can't wait to get my unworthy paws on one of these!

I agree. A really good review / demo that really shows off what this guitar is capable of. The demo is here: Review: Ernie Ball Music Man Armada | Guitar World

I am way more interested now that I have seen this. Being an Axis and Silo guy, I didn't think the Armada was for me. Still a little worried about the scale length and neck-thru (which I have never been able to get used to), but hearing/seeing this demo definitely has piqued my interest -- need to check this out...

A very cool part of the review was when Paul rolls the volume down with no loss of treble. Pretty slick.

Sounded and looked awesome! I have seen the guy Paul do a 100 demos and he is an excellent player, but in 7 minutes he could of played a little more melodic on that demo, a bit too much pentatonic noodling. I believe EBMM has a winner with this one and am looking forward to owning one.

STEVE!

Where've you been?!?!

Hey, Pete!

Yes, it's been a while.. lots of life stuff.. did a few semesters of college online (in my spare time), made a CD with my band, gigged a lot until I herniated a disc lugging gear around, tried various alternatives to heal for about 10 months, then finally had surgery, wife had some health issues, kids got bigger and involved in swimming, Cub Scouts, etc., I took up electronics as a hobby and started building things like basic robots (not as useful as Ursula). But life is good and I thought I'd pop in to see what's going on with Big Poppa and the Knuckleheads.

Back here for 2 seconds and I see that Armada, and *poof* - instant G.A.S.!

Ooof, sounds like the real world hitting you pretty hard for a bit. It's good things have improved and I'm glad to see you back on here again! (ps the Armada is killer)

Hey Pete, any Armadas coming out with a trem by any chance?

Not to my knowledge but you never know. I bet you could force a Bigsby on there if you really wanted to.
