Since testing a fair few Sterling necks recently, I realised how amazing the necks are.

Plus, being a big EBMM fan, I figured it was about time I added a bass to the lineup that I could use for all rehearsals and gigs, no matter how rough and ready they might be.

I've arrange to buy a lovely used but mint condition Sterling 4 H in natural, (one of my favourite 'finishes' if you can call it that!) and hopefully by Saturday or a week today, it should be with me.

As I haven't paid the full new price, I will be MUCH less worried about gigging and rehearsing the hell out it it. I was looking for something like this, and I was looking for a Sterling 4, so two birds with one stone.

I know what I'm like though, with it being immaculate and me being ultra careful, it will get a very easy life. Gotta look after your gear :)

Really excited to get it...the seller says its very very light and super quick to play.

Very nice, congrsatulations! I love my Sterling 4 H. It too is an all natural as well. What pick guard is on yours?

I believe this one is a black pearl plate which looks surprisingly cool on natural/maple.

I'll post pics if/when it goes ahead :)
