Hey everyone -- so I wanted to share with you all a Split Screen Cover I just released in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the release of the movie "That Thing You Do!" Before I was a shred-head, I enjoyed (and still do) 60's british-invasion bands. When this movie came out, I immediately loved it and learned the song to play in my band in school.

Well, fast forward to 20 years later, I put together this little tribute for the video and it's title track. I used a Ric and my Majesty for this -- the Majesty's pickups are so hot they took the clean sound (an AC30 amp model in my Line 6 Helix) and gave it a great overdrive sound. It was such a great sound, I decided not to change the setting and use it. Incase anyone was wondering this guitar can do ANY style! (I'm currently using it in the pit of Little Shop more 60's music goodness!).

Enjoy the video!

Razzle -- I play my fair share of shred, but I'm got a soft spot in my heart for classic rock (especially 60's British Invasion-Style music). I have to say, this guitar can handle anything I throw at it. I was in a top 40 cover band for almost 2 years and during the last year I had this guitar and it was awesome! Does a great job in my 80's Tribute band as well.

Right now I'm playing a run of Little Shop and it's killing it! The split coil position is great for all those motown-style high position chords, then throw to the bridge humbucker + the boost for an aural assault on the ears! All this with a single amp setting.

That is awesome! Thanks for sharing!

The Majesty is incredibly versatile. The pickups are on the hot side, but rolling back the volume knob a bit opens up a wonderful range of tones.
