I ordered my Artisan Majesty at NAMM 2015 (end of January) and I didn't get mine until mid October. From what I understand, there aren't many machines at the factory that build the Majesty guitars. This instrument is quite different than their others (neck through construction/etc...) thus they do not have many resources to build them. In addition, the original run of the Majesty guitar when it was released in 2014 was a major success and they had more orders than anticipated. It comes down to a lot of orders and being backlogged. It sucks, but it's the truth. Is it frustrating, yeah.

EBMM guys, feel free to correct me on anything that I've said...but this was my understanding while I was waiting for my Artisan Majesty.

Well this thread has officially made me depressed. I ordered my Majesty July 1, 2015 and was told It would be December-February time frame. The purchasing agent at my guitar store has been been asking his rep at EB for 3 weeks now for an update and has not gotten a response. I sent an email directly to John Quinn (export sales as I am in Canada) and he hasn't responded to me either. So if they are telling you March/April then that likely means the summer for me.

As for the reasons for the delay, my store rep told me when I ordered in July that reason for the long production timeline was that EB had major production issues with the artisan line which took months to sort out. Take that for what its worth as I am not sure if he just talking out his butt. He made the same comment to me again last week after bugging him multiple times to try and get and ETA from EB.

As much as I really want an artisan, if we dont get a response back soon from EB I am thinking I might just cancel my order and get another guitar I am interested in.

Guys, if you have specific questions with order delivery, contact your local sales rep and/or the MM customer service folks. But let's not use this forum as a place to vent about delivery times. Thanks.
