Hey, when we all saw the first picture of the Artisan Marrone Majesty in JP's hands, instead of the maple etchings looking like the carbon fiber pattern, it looked like flame maple etchings. Which really looked awesome!! Now that it has been released, the only Artisan Marrone's I see all have the carbon fiber looking maple etchings. Will the Flame etchings ever be available?? I sure hope so!!! Please someone let me know!!!

Hi Willy D, I know that piece in the middle is maple, but it's laser etched to look like the carbon fiber pattern. Here is the picture of JP with the etching looking like flame maple. Can I get an Artisan Majesty with this flame pattern instead of the carbon fiber looking one??

The guitar in that photo is (if I recall correctly) the 1st Artisan Majesty prototype guitar which was posted in this thread...

...and that guitar is not laser etched to look like flamed maple, it's just real flamed maple. As Willy said, all the other production Artisan Majesty guitars are real flamed maple AND etched, like this...

Thanks Dr.Kev If that's just regular flame maple will it ever be offered on a production model?? I thought Big Poppa's rule was it's only offered on a signature model if the artist wants it? Can we say that a picture of JP holding it means he likes it??? I don't know, maybe it's just me but I like the flame maple look better than the carbon fiber etched pattern!
