That'd be sweet. I'd actually love to see the return of the Eddie pak. At least that type of string and gauge in a single set. Then I could rid myself of those 150xl's from Fender.

I still have yet to try the Classic Rock n' Roll Slinky's, but they still don't have the .40 Low E string that I want.

The .040? Yeah that's what I thought too. It makes a very smooth even sound, no boominess from the low strings.

Hey, they're good enough for Eddie, they're good enough for me.

Not suited for drop tunings or anything though, that's for sure.

were could you get a pack of the .40 strings i love messing around with lower gauge strings and all types its cool how it can effect your tone
