Is it just me or are they totally different necks?

I would have expected it to be the same thickness as the maple neck Axis and ASS that I have but its not at all. A couple of my friends who have one of each have said the same thing.

Are axis rosewood necks... not axis necks at all?

** i mean Rosewood fretboard/Maple neck when I say that not.. all rosewood...in case there is any confusion**

If you ask me it is more of a texture thing... they may be the same specs, but the different textures of maple and rosewood along with the visual part may be whats creating the illusion of it being different.

I have/had the 3 all maple, rw fretboard and all rosewood

Neck is the same, but as Colin mentioned hand made finish makes the difference

the neck on your blue pearl supersport is a bit of a skinny one. Myself and Dr Bob who owned it before me both agreed it had noticeably less meat on it. I loved the neck personally (great figuring too).
conversely a black/maple HSS Sport I owned had a noticeably bigger neck than the other 2 Axii I also had at the time.
Its all good

Is Axii the proper plural of Axis guitars? Sounds good, so I'll run with it.

I have three Axii and an EVH. All seem to have slightly different contours, particularly in the depth factor. Not huge differences, but when I put one down after playing for awhile I can notice it.

Dr Bob?

I just thought it was odd because it was 2 other folk who felt the same about comparing their maple n rosewood axii.
