Help Help Help - having been a Fender guy for many years I was keen to try out the Redwood Stingray 4 HH - Ball Family Reserve which I bought 18 months ago. Up until now it has been fine and I have been really pleased with it. I change the batteries on a regular basis however, I seem to have lost a lot of power and getting a bit of a buzz. I tried changing the batteries again to no avail it is still the same. I don't think it is the pick ups as the problem remains regardless of where the toggle switch is!

Has anyone else experienced this lack of power or a similar problems?

Appreciate any help or advice.

Check the wires to the battery box to ensure that they are connected completely.

Also, what brand of battery are you using? I had a bass that there was a terrible buzzing sound. I shipped it out to get it checked out. It turned out that a store brand battery was the problem. With a Duracell battery, no problem. Put the store brand back in, problem.

If not that, then call customer service.

It's like this guy has inside info, isn't it?

Check the obvious things, esp if the contact tabs inside the box are making good connections with the batteries. And then follow the big guy's advice. Customer Service is ace!
