I've already OK'ed it with my boss to get out of work early next Friday. I'll definitely be there. Totally want to check out the blue dawn finish in person, pictures never do justice to these paint jobs.

I'll have to see if I can pry my wife out of bed in time. She works the "evening" shift at Bridgeport Hospital (3-11, which is more like 3-2).

She has essentially no interest in my hobbies, but she contributed significantly to this bass as a Christmas + birthday gift, and she should be there.

Doesn't mean I'm above bailing and heading up there if she doesn't stir early enough....

Geez, even I didn't remember that!

No, it's something light, gold and signed by certain luminaries....

This is feeling SO good. When you let me test drive that Bongo in 2005 I knew I had a karmic debt to pay. Tomorrow the circle will close.

Proof that being good to people pays off in the end.

blue dawn is an awesome finish! my first MM.

i was at work one day playing with the instrument builder and said to myself ..." ok, ill go to GC after work. if they have a sterling in blue dawn w/ maple board, black pg and non matching ill buy it". well it was the first bass i saw when i walked in

Yeah. Must've been because the truck got held up due to the FedEx plane that ran off the end of the runway. It was swerving to avoid a DHL van.
