Tiff,

If you're flying America West to/from Phoenix, my brother-in-law may be your pilot!
Pay attention and if you have Capt. Dave Boggs, ask him about buttermilk pie. :)

Is there a ban on carry-on liquids/gels? You might not get on with a bottle of water.

Travel safe.

There is on flights to the states from the UK. But most domestic flights here now everything is almost normal - you just cannot take liquid through the security gates, but you can buy stuff on the other side of the gates...duty free and stuff.

Happy Trails Tiff.

Tiff, the good pilots drink whiskey the whole flight and then when you are getting off the plane. They say something like. " hi I am captain hook and I hope you enjoyed the flight". :D

Sans hard top?

Why yes, Mark...I did pop off the hardtop about a week ago but manual soft tops are a tad of a hassle to put up and down quickly and I found out very quickly that freeway cruising at 80 mhp with the top down is not exactly a pleasurabe experience plus Tiffie is a female embarking on a long, multi-continent trek so I presume she'll have a "tad" more luggage that the SL can handle. She's also coming in mid-afternoon on Wednesday (day before kickoff) and I'll probably be found running around the facility saying "Fu#k" alot getting things setup.

Now that I know when she's landing I'll make Jack's reservations so he'll arrive pretty close to the same time and I'll send a towncar with a driver to stand by the luggage pickup holding a sign that says "Bovinious Tiffles" or something and scoop both of them up at the same time.

ps: Tiff...get a lot of sleep coming over to the west coast because as soon as you hit the Day's Inn property Wednesday afternoon you will be running your butt off following me around in a manic panic until Sunday noon ok? Snag me a few barf bags off the plane will you because I'm already getting pretty amped up now that we're in the under 30 day window.

Reality started to sink in over last weekend when I realized that we're now on final approach and registrations had stalled out for a week or so and I still have 1,000 things to deal with over the next month and I kinda freaked out a bit and I seriously questioned why I stepped up to be the Producer of this event...the buck stops here on everything unlike last time when I just showed up, did my seminar, got drunk and let Michael Menduno handle everything else. I kinda got "barfy" when it sunk in that the point of no return had passed and I had to pull it all together and no longer had the luxury of "time" on my side.

So I ramped up my focus on SOB on Monday and have had 5 new regsitrations and a bunch of calls to return so I feel better now.

Miller Brewing is coming on board sponsoring the nightly concerts and providing free suds and may even send out a few "Miller Girls" for the nightly concerts.

I'm very happy that I asked you to help me out with this Tiffie...I have every confidence that you are the perfect person to do this job!! I promise that I'll work you hard but that you'll have a blast every second you're there.

Question? Are you bringing a bass and if not what would you like me to have available for you?? Four string? Five string?

LOL..that less than I bring for a weekend getaway to Palm Springs..I'm such a "luggage" whore to a point where they always ding me with additional "Overweight Luggage" charges for being over 50lbs checked...true story...I always bring like 5 times more stuff than I actually need/use.

I may start a class action lawsuit against the airlines on the premis that it is discriminatory against skinny luggage whores and that total weight should be the total of passenger and luggage weight.

I see fat people not getting dinged these extra charges bringing on 49lbs bags all the time.
