I know there are only a few people on the board who own a 5 string SC/H Bongo, but I've got a mint green pickguard that I'm looking to sell for $20 shipped.

I'm doing what I should have done a while ago and getting a tort guard for the white whale. Once that is done, I know I won't be using this one.

Someone here has a radiant red Bongo 5 with SC/H and I bet this mint guard would look pretty outstanding with that color. :D

Here's a pic:

Well.

1. I think the mint guard looks fab on that bass, Jason. Not that I'm against tort, mind you - clearly I am not. But that mint guard is heavenly.

2. The mint would also look amazing on that red bass.

Awesome bass & I really like it with the mint p/g.
I might buy the p/g but give me a some time as I
need to buy a Bongo for it.

I like the white Bongos but also like desert gold & candy red.
The decision could take a while

if i could, i would get it just because you all say so...but i cant :(

Heh--Don't feel bad. If people bought things because others told them to, Jack would have about 15 Bongos right now, and have fashioned the cases into a hut after Erika kicked him out of the house. :D

I'm in no super hurry. Hanging onto the pickguard certainly isn't going to break the bank, or keep me from getting a Tort guard. I like the way the mint looks with the white, too--I just have a feeling that once a tort guard goes on there it's never coming off.

As for your color choices, they are all good, but unless you find one in stock, you are out of luck on getting a white Bongo. It's no longer an option. Bass Central has a couple in stock, but I don't know what string and pickup configurations they are--I try not to go to their Bongo page.
