The bass showed up today! It's absolutely gorgeous and I'm convinced that Cabernet Pearl and an all rosewood neck is THE perfect combo. I took it to our demo room and gave it a spin and as expected it's pure magic. The bass definitely feels more resonant than my other Ray 5. Sadly, I'm stuck at work for two more hours but I hope to have pics sometime in the next day or two, but I'm warning you, no pics can do this finish justice.

I got such a good deal that I wish I could list the price. All I'll say is someone else's loss(the guy who originally ordered it) is my gain, BIG TIME. Thanks again Pete, you're the best!

I have the Bongo brother to your SR5, excellent body color for the rosewood and that cabernet finish is miles deep.

I made my rounds all over the sales floor showing it off. Everyone LOVED it. The all rosewood neck and finish were a huge hit. I'm working on it, BP. I'm going to put a petition together from all of the guitarists/bassists to our purchasing department that EBMM should be the next brand we add. With the addition of the BFR pieces and Sterling by Music Man line, there's more reasons than ever to jump on board.
