mine was a gift from SteveB.

For those of you that weren't around at the time (you missed a LOT of fun). The premise was that I hung around this forum for at least a couple years asking zillions of questions, some about colours (that's where the pic collection started) and did not own a guitar for ages. I was ridiculed by everyone (especially Colin) and it was a lot of fun. Eventually there were lots of jabs about my invisible guitar and hence air guitar. Steve posted it for more laughs and it became my avatar.

I've changed it a few times, but always come back to the original.

I've had a few over the years - the current one speaks for itself and I got a tee shirt made with the image on the front, for last year's 'Bash.

I've also had a picture of me back in the 70's - looking like this

I used a picture that I took when Peter Green made his first come back - and I got to meet him in his dressing room

Another one I had was an animated Marshall Amplifier Volume knob that rotated from 1 - 11 - I liked that one - I must dig it up from my back ups.
