Just put a set of EB 'Regular' Slinky' roundwound strings on my 5-string, and couldn't believe the difference! I've used several 'well known' brands, same medium guage, but these EB's sold me! Attack, resonance, speed .. I love erverything about them. What a difference. Thank you EB!

Don't take it as sarcasm - text doesn't do 'tone of voice' too well. It's the eureka moment that many bassists have when they realise that, after much searching and trying of other brands, the sound they love most from their basses involves EB strings. A great buddy of mine here in France had a similar moment with his Stingray5.

TNT & DrKev ... no problem. When I posted how much I'm enjoying the EBs I just put on, guess I misread the reply ... my apologies. I've been playing since '73, and without any reservation, these strings are the best I've ever used. They 'fit' me .. I'm sure other players have their favorites, it's an individual thing, you know?
