awesome gig last night

my band Victim Nation played a gig last night and it was awesome. a bunch of people showed up, everyone had a few drinks then we rocked. It was one of the best shows we'd played in months! im so stoked. I think some people took pics so ill post those once they get emailed to me. the whole show was video taped as well

anywho - i have no idea how many people told me "your bass sounds awesome - i want one of those". i have a lot of friends in bands who showed up so they're GASing now I used the HS Sterling last night... it sound badass and played like butter ... best bass ever made - thanks Pops

ive been meeting a lot of local musicians thru my new job and my army of Sterlings have been making a name for themselves. a handfull of my buddies are producing a lot of stuff locally and after the first session ive been getting a lot of requests from people to borrow em for recording. i always set em up and do up the neck so they make the best impression possible. everyone that's borrowed em has returned them and declared "im buying one of these - this bass is awesome"

thanks dude. i appreciate the kind words. as far as a new VN album. um, i dunno when that's happening. clint's the main songwriter and he got busy with law school, then the bar etc and finally the lawyer job hunt thing. the material i write doesnt quite fit into the VN mold - its harder & heavier etc

weve got 2 new songs in the bag w/ one on the way so maybe an EP of those 3 w/ a cover or 2 tossed in.

im about to found a new hardcore/punk band with a couple "famous" guys which im really stoked about. due to the other folks involved we'll possibly get in the studio b4 victim nation does. there's some discussion about me playing guitar in that project... and ive been asked to sing (hopefully i dont tho)
