I enjoy my Stingray HS because I get a nice weight lifting work-out each time I play. :D

But seriously, I'd like to see more of this. Were these special order Rays Ed? Or just normal ones?

These are "normal" stock. Just thought I'd mention it, I always keep my eyes out for light instruments, maybe some of you do too.

I got REALLY lucky when I scored my 1991 Stingray 4 that weights 8 lbs on the dot!! Killer sound AND light weight!!!:D

Weight is an issue for me too. That would be the biggest drawback to ordering a EBMM instrument for me: you cannot specify a weight and do not know what you are going to get. You are sure that everything will be top notch in every other aspect, but you'd be surprised at how much of a difference a pound and a half makes on your shoulder after three sets. It's a big part of the playability and comfort factor (a nice strap can only do so much).
