Hey There,

I'm new here, but I believe there's an opportunity for me to share some knowledge on this topic.

"300" refers to the model number of the Axis guitar. I'm looking at my Music Man catalog. There's an order form here, and the number 300 is merely the model number for the Axis.

I bought my Axis new from Guitar Center, and the hang tag had the number 300 on it as well, so I did a little research and realized that's what it was referencing.

Hope that helps.

Thanks very much! So then, an Axis 300 in very good condition selling for $520 would be a fair price then correct?

Well. It was in the Daddy's junky music used system. I called today to have it sent to my local store, but unfortunately it had sold.

That price was just too good I suppose....

Hi Jason,

Glad I could help.

Sorry you weren't able to get the Axis at that price.
That would have been great!!!
