Brent - Did you see Jon's post in Brett's thread

It looks like a re-finish. Look at the holes for the pots etc. They would have been counter sunk from the factory. Hmmmm green EVH's are rare. I should paint this and make (in a Dr. Evil voice) ONE MILLION DOLLARS!

The bridge is legit, but it's a new one without the offset saddles like the original guitars had.

Ripoff IMO

The pickup pockets also look wrong based on livinitups photo too

You'd have no original neck, no orignal bridge, no original pickups and no original neck plate to demonstrate its actually real EVH -
Even if its real body (and I don't believe it is) you'd be better with a 100% original that is a refinish IMHO

plus to my eye, I don't think the quilt is of the quality EBMM would have put out, it doesn't look matched to me

Be careful

Buyer beware on this one. And the sellers 91% feedback is worrisome too.

You may be right, but why is 91% worrisome? He has way more positive responses than negative and those that are negative come down to his word vs the four or five others. It's certainly not the first time we've heard of ex EBMM employees selling off or giving away stuff that has then appeared on Ebay. I can't see why a 91% rating necessarily means this is a scam.

I think the only questions for a prospective buyer are 1) do they feel an EVH body and trem is worth $800 and 2) is it worth the potential risk.

Just one more thought

This might be an Axis EX body - would still have some connection to EB and could have got to the seller that way, but still not an EVH.

a measurement of the maple cap will tell if it's an EVH or EX

anybody who thinks a 91% is good needs to understand that it is horrible. If this is a real body which I doubt it was stolen by an employee and probably a second to begin with...pass

Brent, if you want a green real bad, buy a knocked about EVH and have it re-finished in green! Much cheaper and you will have all the bits!
