Here's what I got. I've had a couple more hardtails in my possession, but these played the best. At some point, the red and possibly amber will be refinished to probably blue, green or pink, or a combination two of those.

Out of curiosity, is there any difference (tonally) between an Axis hardtail and a Super Sport (i.e. does the presence of a tone know and 5-way make that big of a difference). Obviously the in-between positions 2 and 4 will sound different, but 1/3/5 should be the same

I had a hardtail Axis and a Super Sport at one point. I always felt there was a tiny bit of output drop on the SS vs the HT Axis. My Axis Sport is wired the same as the ASS and I never notice a difference... But I think that has more to do with Ash vs Basswod/maple. It really came down to preferring the Axis toggle vs the blade. The HT Axis is the only guitar I really regret selling.

The difference in "bite" was significant enough for me to sell four Super Sports and track these down. To me at least.
