Is it BBB? I'm not sure but a flamed top pacific blue burst with maple board and natty hs is my all time favorite Axis combo. Beautiful!!!

All natty quilted Axis coming in at a close second.

i found this here and this is what i had in mind. is there a way to see all color options they offer? and how much of a price difference is there between the regular axis and the axis BRF.

No. This is Pacific Blue Burst (PBB), a non-BFR color. See the fretboard inlays as comparison to a BFR?

You should check the Music Man website. i think there are closeups of Bahama Blue Burst (BBB) on the Axis BFR page.

Rule of thumb: BFR = BBB, regular Axis = PBB when you see blue.

PBB has shades of turquoise/green in its which us hard to capture in pictures.

Did you ever actually check the music man website and pricing?

Pete would be best placed to advise on pricing, fella.

Either way, you'll have a very high quality instrument.

Great great guitar.

BFR's cost alot more. The reason they cost more is the inlays on the fretboard and the mahogany tone block plus the more exotic color over the maple top. They tend to use more nice birdseye maple on the bfrs too. But alot of the regular Axis are drop dead gorgeous too!

I had this one in the for sale thread for a few weeks... I gave up and sold it after a day or two on a non Knucklehead forum! This still is the best looking Axis I've seen...beats the BFR I owned for looks and tone too!

A have an amethyst bust BFR Axis, they run around $2500, at least when I bought mine a couple of years ago. I also have a few regular Axis guitars which typically run around $1900. These are just estimates, Pete will give you a more definite answer.
