Axis build/delivery time?

Hi all,
I ordered an Axis in black cherryburst back on the 7th July through my local guitarshop, I was told it will take around 12-14 weeks.
I am located in Australia so I dont know if that would account for travel/delivery time as well.

Has anyone had a custom order take longer than 3 months?

Yes, the shortest wait I have had was 5 months and that is including the guitar getting from the US to the UK!

Yes, 3 months seems a little short. Did you try ringing the Australian distributor and asking them?

To add, it is well worth the wait!!!!

Right now we are getting instruments in that were ordered 5 months ago. Sometimes the wait is closer to 3-1/2 months but currently there are a ton of instruments on order and the wait is a bit longer.

I order two on two different occasions in the past and it took about 3 months for each.

Well I just spoke to my local music shop and my guitar is still in production and wont get it until atleast end of November or early december, that was ordered on July 7th. He made some calls and Musicman are about 2-3 weeks behind.

The more I think about the guitar the longer it seems to take....bah

This one was ordered through Pete DuBaldo and took nearly 5 months. It was well worth the wait. I know how you feel:

Just an update. I still havnt received my guitar yet, going on 5 months.
But thats ok, I assume they are really busy over at the Musicman factory? ;-)
